What I do
I help homeowners in the Greater Toronto Area protect a mortgage with a life insurance policy they own, instead of the coverage the bank offers at closing. The site shows prices from Canadian insurers; I help you pick the coverage, complete the application, and stay with it until the insurer decides. Approval is the insurer's call, never mine, and the price is not final until the insurer has reviewed your file.
How I get paid
Insurers pay a commission when a policy is issued. You do not pay me a fee, and the price you see is the insurer's price. Commission rates differ between insurers and between products, so ask me why I am recommending a particular company and I will tell you. I will also tell you plainly when the bank's coverage is the better choice.

What happens after a quote
If you want help, call or email. We confirm the coverage and term, pick the insurer, and complete the application together. A straightforward application is often decided in a few days to a couple of weeks; files that need a phone interview, a nurse visit or a report from your doctor take longer, and I will tell you which one yours looks like before you apply.
